As a father, everything I create and design I want my son to be proud of. I want to him to be able to interact and have a safe digital playground whether it is games, social media or something else not yet built.

Since high school I have had a passion for the arts. I started to develop my own pen drawing style which is a mixture of "tribal", "abstraction" and "textures/line work".

I went to college as the turn of the designing pipeline went from a hand drawn process to a digital process. I value both methods but have been empowered with this knowledge that enables me to utilize a variety of workflows to solve design problems. Sketches and thumbnails are powerful to quickly build a visual blueprint. Being able to digitally process information allows for the reuse of elements but sometimes can be slower.

As a forward thinker in college my senior thesis was about using gaming technology for things other than encouraging violence. I saw a place where building worlds virtually so people can connect, conference, evaluate product designs/architecture has value.

This technology and software will need to evolve to meet the needs as we seek to expand our human footprint into space and other planets. Problems like "How will we share moments with distant friends so they feel like they are a part of the moment and not watching a video?" and "Can we utilize virtual/augmented technology to work machinery from the other side of the world to maintain a career?".

The creative box is only as small as we decide to let it be.

Run ink jet machine for bulk mail, run folding machine, running auto insert machine, run sealing machine, hand stuff, tab, etc. Prepare mail to take to the post office. Assist with print production saddle stitching, coil binding, folding, cutting. During the downtime I organized paper for easier finding. Maintained clean work area.

Media Design Volunteer
In this volunteer position I have used 3D rendering and video editing to design backgrounds and media presentations for live gatherings. Coordinating mulitscreen presentation for over 700 weekly attendees.

Designer: In the IT Department I helped manage quality connections to the local server, printers, and Internet. Also, setup and managed email accounts, promotional emails, mass faxing. I led a team of 4 designers in marketing, branding and online commerce for several months before moving into the IT Department. In this position I have redesigned the company logo, done two innovative website redesigns, designed all print marketing materials and mass emails, and designed 3D technical renderings for production. I have also provided photography services of both still photography for marketing and action photography. I am proud to say that during my time with this company our online sales have increased tremendously due to my innovative and user Friendly informative website and integration of online store and shopping cart applications.

Surveyor: Field survey jobs for placements of utility poles and fiber optic pathing along with associated equipment. Utilized GIS data via propriety software to problem solve locations and pathing prior to providing a sketch overlaying Google Maps prior to being sent drafted. I shifted from drafting to fielding/surveying because of the demand.  Drafter: Use MicroStation to convert drawings and surveyed specs into work plans. Use proprietary software. As needed I went out to survey locations for jobs to be drafted. In January 2023 I fully transitioned to surveying from drafting. I initially started out as a drafter in a “temp-to- hire” position, through Broadstaff Officially converted 11/14/2022.

SketchUp was utilized to produce the 3D model.
